Spiritual Psycho

Last week we had a groundbreaking meeting - we began the map! After much discussion, trial-and-error, and other mishaps, we finally figured out how to put all of our information on the map, and we actually began work. I'm not going to lie, it is really nice to finally have some product come out of our Creative World Justice meetings. We have been meeting and collaborating for months, now, with no tangible outcomes.

I must be honest with myself, though. I am a person very driven by production, timelines, and tangible evidence of work. But even though we have had weeks of not much to cross off the "to-do" list, I have left every meeting feeling incredibly filled and charged. And this is due to the individuals who come each week. This might be the pain medication talking, but I love you guys so much. I schedule my whole week around Tuesday night. Just having the privilege to work for justice with yall is incredible. Each person brings a unique outlook to the group, a different story, and a very important element.

I'm telling you I love you, because what I say next might sting a little. We have to get our sin out in the open. We are doing a serious work for the kingdom, and the Devil is not going to let it happen lightly. No, he might not be taking our little group seriously, but when he does, he will do everything he can to break it up, break the spirit of our group and of each one of us. And it's so obvious how he does it: individuality. He talks us into keeping our feelings and emotions to ourselves. He tells us that what we are going through is none of "their" business, that CWJ doesn't care about my problems. But that's the farthest thing from the truth. When we talk about our problems, let sin in the open, and pray over even the most seemingly unconnected things, that is when we break down the Devil's hold.

No, dont worry, if you bring up an encounter you may have had, or a feeling you've gotten, you won't be written off as a spiritual psycho. Quite the opposite. The more we pray and discuss through the spiritual problems, as well as the tangible ones, the more we will see that they are so much more interconnected than we ever thought possible.
