first of all, i miss you each dearly. it's hard for me to be away from home, but i'm excited about the things i'm learning. i just spent several days in Chicago, at the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). through attending several workshops and venturing around the city, the Lord showed me a lot about various issues facing the people of God in our neighborhoods and what we can do to be a part.
one issue in particular ignited a fire in my heart - immigration reform. there were a few different workshops (and documentaries) that focused on the topic, and i can't wait to discuss them with you all! in the mean time, check out some ideas that my new friend Mark Charles has:
